An alternative to the common language courses is the’ language tandem’. A language tandem consists of two students, who would like to learn each other’s language. Each person of the tandem is teacher and student at the same time.
It is up to the tandem team which methods and aids/material they use (a course book, watching movies, discussions) .
You can search for a tandem partner via notice boards etc, or you can contact the cross-cultural centre, the Interkulturelle Centrum Aachener Studierender (INCAS) and use its agency service. For further information click here (Internal link with Sprachkurs unter Bewerber
