Radio & TV

If you own and use a TV or radio in Germany a you are obliged to inform the GEZ (National icense fee centre) and pay the radio/TV license fee.

License fee overview (valid from 1st of April 2005):

Radio (Basic fee)                                                                             5,52 €
for 3 months:                                                                                    16,56 €

TV  (Basic fee)                                                                                 17,03 €
for 3 months:                                                                                    51,09 €

Radio and TV  (Basic fee)                                                                17,03 €
for 3 months:                                                                                    51,09 €

If you no longer have a radio or TV,  please inform  the GEZ or the responsible regional broadcasting corporation and you will no longer be required to pay the license fee.
