LINLIN from CHINA
My name is Linlin. I am 28 years old and I arrived 6 years ago from PR China. In China I received the bachelor degree in Economics and my favourite studies are the Informatics Studies (IT) in Aachen.
Well, there were so many challenges after I arrived. I had never before heard of 'cold' meals, such as the typical German breakfast. Another thing I learned was that one has to make an appointment for all services, even with the hairdresser. It was also not so easy to find a job and to make German friends.
At the moment I share a flat with German students and I feel very comfortable in Germany. Sometimes I surprise myself. For example, when I put cheese, butter and salty bread (all these Items do not exist in the Chinese cuisine) in my shopping basket as if I have been doing it all my life.
