MAI from VIETNAM

I am Vietnamese and have lived in Germany since 2004. I am 21 years old and I am in my second semester of studying Economics at the University of Applied Sciences (UAS/FH).
One of the most important challenges was to close the information gap, because there is no special foreign student consultancy service.
I remember clearly the two surprises after my arrival in Germany:
1. There have been very few children in the street and
2. the food is really dry.
After a short time I discovered several positive aspects: The open mindedness of the people and the experience of more direct discussions than I had at home.
The discipline of the German culture is a trait which, in my eyes, has positive impacts – not only in their studies... I am still surprised that the Germans are patiently queueing at every location.
