Finanzielle und soziale Hilfe
If students are faced with a financial emergency they can contact various institutions to apply for temporary financial support. The approval of the application depends on the meeting of certain criteria, which will be provided by the different institutions.
The following institutions provide advice and support in financial emergencies:
RWTH
The RWTH finances a student support fund, derived from the social contribution, which is part of the semester social charges.

Any financial support provided by these institutions is for a short period only in each particular case.

Each university parish and the AStA (student representative office) can be contacted in case of any (other) emergency.
