If you are considering studying abroad, you should start to set up and secure a financial plan as soon as possible.
One option for financing at least a part of your studies is the scholarship. You have in general two options: Either apply for a scholarship in your home country or for a scholarship in Germany.

Support for foreign Master students
Support for students of mechanical engineering
Support for PhD junior researchers
Of course you can cover the study time expenses from your savings or be supported by family / relatives. But before you apply for your student visa you have to submit the financial statement.
