The Studentenwerk Aachen is a medium-sized company with in total 270 employees. We are a modern service provider for 36.000 students of the universities of Aachen and Juelich. With a turnover of 14 mio. EUR the Studentenwerk has the economic and organisational responsibility for student restaurants, cafeterias, eventmanagement, catering service, housing estates, financing of studies (BAfoeG) and child care.
The main goal of our services and framework contributions is to make studying a success. We produce in our student restaurants and cafeterias 1,3 mio meals per year. We maintain and manage 20 student housing estates in the cities of aachen and Juelich with more than 4.360 beds. In addition we provide child care services for student parents and we support over 6.000 students in their financing of studies (BAfoeG).
