Catering Service
We have a large choice of delicious breakfasts, lunches and afternoon snacks. We provide a variety of high quality seasonal meals at a fair price. The student restaurants and cafeterias are close to the RWTH / FH buildings.
For celebrations we highly recommend our Catering Service for a solution which is tailor-made for your needs. Our culinary services provide anything from coffee and cakes, snacks or sandwich plates to our excellent dinner buffet.
Housing
Our 20 housing estates in Aachen and 2 housing estates in Jülich provide favourable accomodation to RWTH / FH students. We offer a wide range of housing solutions: Single rooms with shared kitchen, WC and shower, rooms in shared flats, flats for students with children as well as accomodation for disabled students.
Vocational Training Support / Grant (BAfÖG)
The Bundesausbildungsförderungsgesetzes (BAföG) applies to German and European students. The BAföG secures the financing of the studies, if the parents cannot provide sufficient financial support. The BAföG-solution is very attractive: 50% is a non-repayable grant to the student and the other 50% is an interest-free loan.
Child Care
To ensure that student parents can focus on their studies and complete them on time, the experienced child care teams take care of their children and support their development. We have 150 (child care) places available at our five child care centres “Piccolino”, “Pusteblume”, “Sonnenstrahl”, “Wolkennest” and “Königshügel”.
