Organizational Structure
After the first structural changes in 1997 the current organizational structure was formed in June 2005. Social services, facility management and eventmanagement cover several units which have been summarized in economic terms. Based on the new organizational structure we achieve faster communication and efficient operations.

The new Studentenwerk law (only available in German), in place since 1st May 2005, established the managing director and the board of directors as a joint organizational body. The board of directors monitors the managing director in his organization and accounting skills as well as in his management of financial procedures and business administration. During the board meetings various decisions have to be made regarding individual activities and the implementation of strategies for the Studentenwerk Aachen.
